Our knowledge and experience in rural buildings includes the design and construction of commodity barns, silage barns, and bulk storage buildings like feed bunkers, fertilizer bunkers, dairy bunkers, sheep bunkers, paddock bunkers and feedlot bunkers. Morestone Construction Group worked with a feedlot farmer based near Wagga, NSW to convert an existing machinery shed into an efficient commodity barn. Morestone listened and talked with the farmer to understand his needs, then set to designing an engineered solution that worked. Morestone lined the existing structure with precast concrete push wall panels and built feed bunkers so that cattle feed could be stored, processed and mixed. With the addition of precast concrete panels and feed bunkers this was a simple yet effective transformation of an underutilised shed on this farmer’s feedlot.
